Grindstone Angling, based in Ontario, Canada, has been a premier full-time guiding service since 1993. Our seasoned guides possess unmatched expertise in navigating the wilderness waterways of south-central Ontario. In 1995, we introduced the McKenzie-style driftboat to the province, pioneering guided services on many of southern Ontario’s larger cold water rivers, including the renowned Saugeen and Grand River.
We offer a variety of fly fishing adventures, including both driftboat and walk-and-wade trips, targeting species such as trout, bass, steelhead, salmon, and muskie. Our season kicks off in late March and continues through the year until the rivers freeze over in late December. We also offer a variety of instructional programs, including fly casting lessons, fly tying, and entomology courses.
